My wife (from this area) and I are hosting 2 guided tours (a brisk pace and relaxed pace) and 1 semi guided tour in our 3 houses and 1 apartment in the village of Valle San Giovanni. These itineraries extend from the stunning Apennine Mountains in the west to the beautiful Adriatic Beaches in the east. These tours are designed to give the cyclist some great riding on country roads while taking in genuine village life. Our groups are small and personable, typically 6 to 9 persons and are fully supported. The diversified countryside of the province of Abruzzo includes all types of terrain, great climbs with spectacular scenery, long thrilling descents and flat river valleys. The May tour has reduced hills, a relaxed pace and mileage averaging about 55km/day. The June tour is at a brisk pace and averages about 90 km/day. Both tours include one full rest day and are fully supported with sag wagon. Our 2010 tours were fantastic. We have added some extra special events for our guests that have been really well received. These have included participation in a Gran Fondo, visiting a new bike wear factory (great prices factory direct) and an amazing private dinner put on by a local chef and wine/liquor distibutor. Attached is the detailed itineraries and price discounts for early booking and group discount. We also have info on our website, however we do not do bookings on it. We still prefer to talk to everyone and ensure it is what they are looking for. The more tours we do here, the more we realize what a special place in the world we have. It really is cycling paradise. We have tried to capture some of this in our new website. Ciao Anita and Gord Litster www.valletours.com 250-655-4030 PS We are back to Italy Sept 17th to Oct 5th as we are hosting a private tour for an Edmonton Club. Feel free to share this with any of your cycling friends. . -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... We rode it yesterday and they have the shoulder blocked off, so I would maybe give it a second thought for Sherwood. KMC -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
